How Do I Find a Book By Its Library of Congress Classification Number (LCC) or LC Call Number?
If you already know the call number of the resource you are looking for, first direct your attention to our labeled stacks (shelves). Each shelf will have a call number range indicating the location at the top of the shelf. Don't forget to read the call number alphabetically and numerically. If you do not know the item's call number, you can visit the Public Services desk for help.
Typically, the book's call number will be located at the bottom of the book's spine. If the book is too thin, you can find the call number on the bottom corner of the cover. If you are searching for a book on the library's website, you can find the call number just after the book's location.
