How can I tell whether a book is available in print or online?

Identifying differences between library catalog records of e-books vs. print books.

Follow steps 1-4 from "How do I check to see if the library has the book I need for class?" or follow the step below.

  1. From the Mercer University Libraries' homepage, select Advanced Search
  2. Select the bubble next to Library Catalog.
  3. Enter your search term, or if you already have the title of a book in mind, enter the title of the book and select Any field before selecting Title from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select SEARCH.

E-books are labeled Available Online and have a chain link icon

Books that are available in print have an open book icon .

Print books have locations at Swilley Library, Tarver Library, or Henry County.

In the example below, the first is an e-book, the second is a print book available at the Swilley Library, and the third is a print book available at the Tarver Library.
