How to limit searches for psychology, counseling, or human services articles to empirical studies.
The PsycINFO database is useful for finding articles in the fields of psychology, counseling, or human services. To narrow the search to empirical studies, scroll down on the Advanced Search screen to the Methodology box in the bottom of the right column. Scroll down within the Methodology box, and select EMPIRICAL STUDY before selecting the green or yellow search buttons.
