Do I have to return an ebook?
I checked out an ebook on the library. How do I return it?
The short answer is "No." You do not have to return ebooks, but they will expire on their own.
The longer answer deals with how you checked out the ebook.
- If the ebook was checked out in your internet browser, then you will be able to access the book, until the loan period is up. If you need the book again, feel free to check it out again.
- If the ebook was checked out by downloading a copy of the book in Adobe Digital Editions, then the file will expire and access will be restricted. To access the book again, you will have to check it out again and download another file.
Finally, some of our ebook databases allow you to download a limited amount of pages from certain electronic books as PDF documents. These downloads do not expire.
