Need to find children's books based on grade reading level and lexile level. Does the library have any of these books available?
For example, I need books with a 7th grade reading level and with a 900-1200 lexile level.
The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) enables users to search for children's literature based on age, grade, and lexile level along with a variety of other parameters. The results list provides specific titles that can be browsed individually and located in the library by clicking "Check the Library's Catalog."
To access CLCD, either click the link above or go to Mercer University Libraries website. On the library's homepage, CLCD can be found in the Database listing under 'C' as well as the Education LibGuide. Users may be asked to verity their Mercer status by providing their MyMercer username and password.
